Description

How did CSU's Michael Schwarz Library attain a 1937 original edition of Adolf Hitler's political testament Mein Kampf (My Struggle) in 2020? What is the historical importance of the text and how do scholars understand its place in literature? What can be gleaned by reading its often-vulgar pages and how might it help us teach tolerance? These questions and many more are explored in this "Pandemic Podcast Project" which grew out of Dr. Mark B. Cole's 20^th Century Europe course. Graduate students David Bakonyi, Misty Ebinger, Diane Greene, Patrick Locke, Andrew Pinney, and Kyle Romansky researched the text's historiography and interviewed a variety of specialists for the project.
