Abstract

Sam Sheppard's friend Dr. Arthur Miller makes a recording for the Sheppards while living in Saigon, Vietnam. Miller addresses the type of recording machine Sam used and the poor quality of his recordings, making recommendations for future tapes. He instructs Sam not to share his letters or recordings publicly while he is an employee of the U.S. government. He also provides brief Vietnamese language lessons.
