The Mobile Historical project was funded by a Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Mobile Historical was the precursor to Curatescape, a set of tools for publishing location-based historical narratives with the Omeka content management system using modern web design techniques and mobile apps.
