Artificial intelligence arrived in higher education before most faculty had decided what they thought about it, leaving them to make real decisions about assignments, assessment, and academic integrity with little shared ground to stand on. This book is a practical response, written by 35 Cleveland State University faculty and staff who spent a week working through those questions together. It takes no position for or against AI in the classroom. Instead, it offers guidance on course design, prompting, student learning, ethics, and integrity, grounded in pedagogy rather than any particular tool, and written for colleagues still working it out.
