Description
The moment after William J. Corrigan concluded his final argument at his client's bail hearing, Judge Blythin ruled from the bench that Sam Sheppard must remain in jail until his jury trial, set to start on October 18. Defense attorneys immediately began drafting a plea to have the trial be held in a different county than Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
