Description
A former state senator, and Cleveland attorney, John Corlett, began indiscriminately circulating the official police photo of Marilyn Sheppard as she was found murdered on her bed. Among others, he showed it to Judge Samuel H. Silbert. The motivation behind doing so was not explicitly set forth in this article, but when asked by The Press, Corlett responded, "it got into my hands through a round-about, circuitous route". Chief James McArthur began an immediate investigation as to how that print got into the attorney's hands.
