Author Biography

Melody Rood is the Student Success Librarian at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received her MLS at North Carolina Central University, and prior to working at UNCG, she worked at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. Melody and her colleague, Sam Harlow, just recently took over OER initiatives with the departure of the former Assistant Dean of Collection Management & Scholarly Communications. Their focus is on running the OER Mini Grant Program as well as education and advocacy.
