Program Type

Lightning talks

Start Date and Time

13-5-2024 8:00 AM

Program Description

An interactive OER for a non-majors chemistry course was developed with a focus on how chemistry grounds our understanding of the world around us, particularly in the context of pollution and climate change. This OER was remixed from several texts, streamlined to match the course’s learning objectives, and interactive activities embedded within each section to help students gauge their comprehension. The process of creating this remixed, interactive text as well as student perceptions of this resource will be presented.
