Description
These seven short films present Islamic art and culture through "video essays" highlighting Islamic calligraphy, geometry, textiles, gardens, book arts & miniature painting, trade, and architecture. This presentation was planned as part of the library's Muslim Journeys series of programs, but will also appeal to Octavofest patrons through the inclusion of the calligraphy and book arts sections.
