Abstract

The article describes curved lenses. These include concave lenses, convex lenses, cylindrical lenses, aspheric lenses and Fresnel lens. The author discusses the limitations of lenses as well as notes various problems with them. Uses of these lenses in several applications and how they are applied are also explained.
