Presenter Biography

Thomas Dorrace, Ph.D. is a visiting Assistant Professor at Cleveland State University. Dr. Dorrance received his B.A. from the University of California Berkley, earned his M.A. in History at San Francisco State University, and completed his doctoral work at the University of Illinois Chicago. Dr. Dorrance’s doctoral thesis investigated “Work, Race, and Gender in the Urban World, “ and many of his classes at Cleveland State explore social histories many facets including race, gender, and “counter culture” grassroots movements.
