Description

Much of Cleveland’s radio success during its first half century originated with highflyers who amazed their growing number of listeners with their incredible technological and programming innovations. This book will examine some of their many successes. It will also explore how the Roaring ‘20s, the Great Depression, the 2nd World War and the post-war years changed broadcasting forever. This writing will then consider how rock n’ roll, television and progressive AM & FM stations affected it. Home of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland’s enterprising early stations helped to set the stage for today’s radio.
